Thousands are visiting Temple Hill during Days of Christmas to hear choirs, soloists, dancers, and the orchestra perform for free during the days of Christmas at the 1,600-seat Oakland Temple Hill Auditorium, located on the grounds of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 4780 Lincoln Ave., Oakland.

Many of the performers are professionals, donating their talents as a gift to the community. Among those yet to peform in this year’s schedule: Voices of the Miraculous toe-tapping gospel gems (Sat Dec 14 – 8 p.m.), Handel’s Messiah Sing-Along (Sun Dec 15 – 7.m.), seasoned Broadway show performer Richard King entertainment (Tue Dec 17 – 8 p.m.), Metropolitan Opera singer Ariel Bybee (Sat Dec 21 – 7 p.m.), Behold the Gift exquisite dance performances (Fri Dec 20 & Sun Dec 22 – 7 p.m.), and the season finale Grand Piano & Organ Concert (Sun Dec 29 – 7p.m.).

The Visitors’ Center hosts events (featuring a variety of singers and musicians) that take place nearly every night through Sun Dec 29 (7 & 8 p.m.). Christmas lights remain on through Friday, January 3, 2014. Please see www.TempleHillEvents.com and Facebook.com/TempleHillEvents for a full and updated listing of performances.
