Friends of San Leandro Library Spring Book Sale


Apply now for FREE financial aid. The deadline is Friday, March 2, 2019 to apply for a Cal Grant or Middle Class Scholarship. You may be eligible for an award up to $12,570 depending on what campus you attend: a California community college or vocational educational institution, California State University, University of California, or eligible private non-profit or proprietary college or university. The Friends of the San Leandro Library organization will hold a Spring Book Sale, Saturday, April 5 in the Karp and Estudillo rooms of the San Leandro Main Library at 300 Estudillo Ave.

As part of the event, customers will be offered a free continental breakfast before shopping.

Over 10,000 quality books covering just about every subject and genre will be available for sale at bargain prices as part of this special event.

The sale includes children’s books, reference items, CDs, DVDs and software programs, as well as collectible books. All items for sale are in good or excellent condition.

The Spring Book sale is open to members of the Friends of San Leandro Library organization beginning at 9 a.m., with non-members welcome to join at 11 a.m.

A Friends membership is available to the public for $10 per year for individuals and $15 per year for families. New memberships can be obtained the morning of the sale, although early registration is encouraged.

The sale ends at 4 p.m., and proceeds help support San Leandro Public Library programming.
