Madeline Crawford, a high school student from Marin City, loves to dance, and wants to dance more.

A recent graduate of Willow Creek Academy, Crawford now attends the Debbie Allen’s Dance Academy in Los Angeles, enrolled in the Pre-Academy Summer Dance Academy Intensive summer program, studying ballet, hip hop, modern and tap.

She will complete the summer program with a dance recital on July 27 at Cal State Los Angeles at the Luckman Fine Arts complex.

Crawford is sure that attending the Debbie Allen’s dance Academy will make her a better dancer and a better person, as well as open up a whole new world for her.

Crawford raised the funds to attend the Dance Academy. She wanted to attend the summer dance camp because funding and time constraints prevented her from taking dance classes during the school year.

She finished her studies at Willow Creek Academy with a 3.3 GPA, plans to attend Tamalpais High school this fall, and will continue to study dance.
