Today, the Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s Veterans Employee Resource Group awarded 10 scholarships totaling $55,000 to college and college-bound students. The ceremony was held at San Francisco’s Pacific Energy Center. Last year, PG&E’s ERGs awarded $319,000 in college scholarships to students in the utility’s service area. In addition to the ERGs, PG&E also offers college scholarships through the Bright Minds Scholarship Program.
