“Cops and Robbers,” the new one-man play by hip-hop artist and police officer Jinho “The Piper” Ferreira, will be shown through Nov. 30, Sundays at 7:30 pm., at the Marsh Berkeley Arts Center, 2120 Allston Way in Berkeley.

The play looks at the dysfunctional relationship between law enforcement, the media, and the Black community. Centered on an officer involved shooting, Ferreira takes the viewer on an emotionally charged ride with unexpected twists and turns.

The Piper travels through 17 characters, each with their own convictions, logic, and prejudices, challenging the viewer to question all preconceived notions of “right” and “wrong.”
