Stockton Thunder Hosts Space Night, Feb. 13

On February 13, the Stockton Thunder will host Space Night for the community including a Special Pre-Game presentation and the chance to meet former NASA astronaut Jose. M Hernandez.

Hernández is an American engineer and a former NASA astronaut.

Hernández was born in French Camp, California, but calls Stockton, California, his hometown. Hernández previously developed equipment for full-field digital mammography at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He left NASA in 2011.

Applied Aerospace, World of Wonders Science Museum, Reaching for the Stars Foundation and more will have booths and exhibits to give the kids in attendance a hands-on experience. A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the Reaching for the Stars Foundation.

First 500 fans in attendance will receive a glow-in-the-dark Thunder Puck!

All orders placed after February 6, 2015 will be left in Will Call under the name provided on the order. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., presentation begins at 5:45 p.m., and the game starts at 7:30 p.m.
