Marin: Taking Freedom Schools to the Next Level

The public is invited to a breakfast, “Equity In Action: Disruption Under-Performance Through Freedom Schools,” which will discuss the potential of Freedom Schools to upend the achievement gap and address institutional racism.

The guest presenters are Saira Soto, deputy executive director, and Angelica Salazar, senior policy associate of Children’s Defense Fund (CDF) – California.

The Hannah Project, along will CDF and the Marin County Office of Education for Equity in Action, will be hosting the breakfast.

It will be held on Monday, March 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Congregation Kol Shofar at 215 Blackfield Drive in Tiburon.
