Bethune-Cookman University to hold College Information Day in Richmond, April 22nd

You may be eligible for an award up to $12,570 depending on what campus you attend: a California community college or vocational educational institution, California State University, University of California, or eligible private non-profit or proprietary college or university. The community is invited to attend a free College Information Day at Easterhill United Methodist Church in Richmond, where Bethune-Cookman University (BCU) will be looking to enroll local students.

The BCU Information Day, which may include on-the-spot admissions for eligible students, will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22 at the church at 3911 Cutting Blvd.

“This is an open invitation to all junior college students, high school seniors and underclass high school students,” community advocate Rodney Alamo Brown said.

Parents are invited to bring their children to the event. To be eligible, students must bring their SAT/ACT test score and transcript documents and must have earned a minimum 2.25 GPA.

Bethune–Cookman University is a private, co-ed, Historically Black University located in Daytona Beach, Fla., offering 39 bachelors’ degrees and six masters’ degrees.
