Author Anne Lamott will speak at a Spring Benefit Concert, Saturday, May 20 at 7 p.m. at St Andrew Presbyterian Church, 101 Donahue St. in Marin City.

Lamott, who is a member of St Andrew, will be speaking about her new book “Hallelujah Anyway-Rediscovering Mercy.”

In her book, Lamott explores mercy as kindness, how it is meaningful to our lives and is “within us and outside us, all around us.”

Lamott shares her understanding of being more merciful to ourselves and others in her book and how we can more kind to others and connect with them more honestly.
