The public is invited to reception and fundraiser to support the Visual and Performing Arts Programs at Bayside/Martin Luther King Jr. Academy in Marin City.
Donna Seager and Suzanne Gray of the Seager Gray Gallery in downtown Mill Valley are hosting a reception and fundraiser for “The Center for Excellence: Empowering Students Through the Arts.”
The reception will be held from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Seager Gray Gallery at 108 Throckmorton Ave. in Mill Valley.
The program will include performances by the musicians of Soundwaves — the Saturday musical collaborative of Marin City students and Redwood High School mentors — as well as short presentations about the Center for Excellence (CFE) and its future plans.
The Center for Excellence: Empowering Students Through the Arts is a 501(c) 3 non-profit that focuses on raising awareness and support for the students at academy. The goal is to raise financial support to ensure that the students gain access to high quality visual and performing arts programs.
