Make Your Own Mini Comic at Marin City Library

The Cartoon Art Museum of San Francisco will be conducting a workshop on how to make your very own mini comic book.

The workshop will be conducted from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18 at the Marin City Library, 164 Donahue St. in Marin City.

This two-hour workshop is for teens, grades 6-12 will include a warm-up exercise, a demonstration and time to create your comic. All materials are provided.

The Cartoon Art Museum’s mission is to ignite imaginations and foster the next generation of visual storytellers by celebrating the history of cartoon art, its role in society, and its universal appeal.

Founded in 1984, the Cartoon Art Museum displays all forms of the comic strips, comic books and anime to political cartoons, graphic novels and underground comix. The museum holds approximately 7,000 original pieces in their permanent collection.
