Raiders Visit UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland

A day after returning home in the wee hours following the Sunday night contest on the road against the Washington Redskins, members of the Oakland Raiders visited young patients at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland.

Raiders players DL Denico Autry, DE Mario Edwards Jr., DT Justin Ellis, DT Treyvon Hester, LB Bruce Irvin, DT Darius Latham, DE Khalil Mack, DT Eddie Vanderdoes and DE Jihad Ward spent their lone off day of the week interacting with the young patients and their families.

The players visited the Immuno-compromised unit (ICU), the Teen Lounge, the Play Room as well as individual rooms where they shared inspirational messages, signed autographs, took photos and handed out Raiders-themed items including sunglasses, wristbands, pennants and mini footballs.
