For the third year, the Barrett Jr. Warriors rise as one the top teams in the Junior Warriors Developmental Basketball League, hosted by Richmond Police Activities League. Through the Barrett Resident Service After School Program, supervised and coached by Janine Shaheed, they encourage youth to play with integrity, sportsmanship, teamwork and confidence.

With a registration of 25 boys and girls ranging in the ages of 7-10 years old, the continued partnership and collaboration with Richmond PAL has given the youth the opportunity to be a part of something wonderful.

With support from Larry Lewis-Executive Director,  Jerry Anderson-League Coordinator, RPAL Coaches Brandon Davis, Malcom Jackson, Andrew Mouton, Devin Marcus Referee, Sergeant Eddie Russell, Officer Alex Galloway, Coach Alajah Nicholson, Coach Raven Caldwell, who pitched in to mentor and coach youth on all teams. All participants exited the league with a wealth of knowledge in basketball fundamentals.

Special thanks to the Parents and Community Housing Development Corporation for their continued support.
