Junior Warriors Basketball is Back

The City of San Leandro is pleased to announce that Junior Warriors Basketball is back for its 19th year in San Leandro. This program is open to boys and girls 5-14 years of age. The 2019 youth basketball season will be held on Saturdays beginning January 12, 2019 and run through March 16, 2019 at San Leandro High School 9th Grade Campus and Washington Manor Middle School.

The program offers a non-competitive environment where beginners and veterans alike can improve their skills through weekly games and instruction.

All participants will receive a Jr. Warriors’ jersey, instruction, and league play. This program is co-sponsored by the Golden State Warriors, the NBA, WNBA and the City of San Leandro. Games will be played at Washington Manor Middle School and the San Leandro High School 9th Grade Campus. Early registration discount ends on December 14, 2018.

Pre-registration is required for participation. Register with the San Leandro Recreation and Human Services Department online. Walk-in registrations are also available at the San Leandro Senior Community Center located at 13909 East 14th Street, or at Marina Community Center located at 15301 Wicks Boulevard.
